Vol. 9 No. S1 (2025)We are pleased to present this Supplement of the World Nutrition Journal (Vol. 9, Supplement 01, September 2025), which features selected papers from the Nutri Symposium 2025 held on 26–27 July 2025. With the theme “Precision Nutrition in Practice: A Team-Based Approach from Critical Care to Community Well-being”, the symposium brought together international experts and researchers to discuss the latest evidence in nutrition science. The presentations cover a broad spectrum of topics, from artificial intelligence in critical care and microbiome-driven personalized ICU nutrition, to pressing public health challenges such as iron deficiency anemia, maternal and child health, and nutrition in cancer prevention. This supplement highlights multidisciplinary insights into how nutritional factors and immune function influence brain health, the gut–brain axis, and developmental outcomes, with implications for both clinical practice and community engagement. Key contributions include expert opinions on the role of nutrition in supporting immunity and cognitive functions, evidence on the importance of gut microbiota for immune system performance, narrative reviews of the gut–brain axis in relation to nutritional status and cognitive function, and practical considerations for cognitive indicators relevant to parents and caregivers in community settings.
